Not only are they a formidable air purifier, but they also have a personality of their own as they open their leaves by day and will wave goodnight as they close. The perfect companion to keep you company in your home or even late nights in the office. They also love a misting over their leaves to remind them of the South American rainforest.

Wait for the soil to be dry and water little and often - it likes for the soil to be a little moist but not too soggy. Try to use filtered water, rainwater, the chlorine or fluoride in the tap water can damage the Calathea. Best room temperatures around 16 to 23°c
