This plant has beautiful heart shaped leaves which make it extra special. Boasting an abundance of sweeping green growth, they bring warm and loving vibe to any living space. They can grow to an impressive stature too, as a trailing plant or a climber if encouraged to do so. Either way, you will be swept away by the beauty and charm of the Heart Leaf Plant.

Looks great in our 14cm indoor pots that come in a number of styles (the pot can also help keep your house plant well drained and healthy).

Likes medium light: so not full sun or full shade (but is more tolerant of shade than others and will adapt). Wait for the soil to be dry and water little and often - it's better for the soil to be a bit dry than too soggy. Best room temperature above 16°c

Origin - Central America, South America

Light - Likes medium light: not too bright and not too shady. More tolerant of shade than others.

Watering - Wait for the soil to be dry and water little and often - it's better for the soil to be a bit dry than too soggy (check out our Eco-Friendly Watering Can)

Temperature - Likes warm rooms, temperature no less than 16°C

Feeding - Apply weak, all-purpose fertiliser during the warmer months.

Grooming - Regularly dust the leaves off with a damp cloth so it can breathe properly. If your philodendron vines get too long for your taste, you can cut them back during the growing season

Humidity - It likes a humid environment, so mist the leaves regularly (check out our Eco-Friendly Mister)

Potential issues - Direct sunshine can cause many of the leaves to turn yellow at the same time

Toxicity - Toxic to pets and children
